Between 2007 and 2008, the Southeast experienced a major drought, and no city in the region suffered more than the growing metropolitan area of Atlanta, GA. 

In 2010, management at three apartment buildings in Atlanta were looking for ways to conserve water for the community and cut down on unnecessary expenditures for their residents.  Niagara Conservation, along with nationally-recognized plumbing contractor Jerre T. Stallings, known as “Tom The Toilet Man” of Maylene, AL, noticed the dismal future of Atlanta’s water supply. They approached management at Southern Heights Apartments (2900 Camp Creek Parkway, College Park, GA), Southern Lakes Apartments (4001 Lakemont Drive, College Park, GA) and Waverly Manor Apartments (5830 Buford Highway, Norcross, GA) with an opportunity to conserve more water.

Installation of Niagara’s Stealth System
In October 2010, each unit began operating with Niagara’s three-part Stealth System. The System includes the ultra-high-efficiency Stealth® toilet, which is EPA Water Sense® certified and the first and only toilet available with the ability to achieve a powerful, quiet flush using just 0.8 gallons of water. 

Water-Saving Results
After measuring water usage for one month, the overall savings averaged more than a 61% reduction in water consumption. The highest reduction rate was 73.2% out of the Southern Heights Apartments.
